Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka?

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? also romanized as Kore ha Zombie Desuka?, lit. Is this a Zombie?) is a Japanese light novel series by Shinichi Kimura, with illustrations by Kobuichi and Muririn. The series' title is officially abbreviated as Korezom (これゾン Korezon). As of October 2010, six volumes have been published by Fujimi Shobo under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko label. There are currently three different manga adaptations based on the universe of Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? being serialized. An anime adaptation produced by Studio Deen began airing in Japan from January 11, 2011.

Haruna (ハルナ^?)

Haruna is a self-proclaimed 'masō-shōjo' (a pun on the word 'mahō shōjo') from a magical world who wields a chainsaw named Mystletainn and battles demons known as Megalos. She can also use her magic to repair damage caused from her battles and erase people's memories. After first encountering Ayumu following a fight with a demon, her magical powers are somehow absorbed by him. As she tries to figure out this situation, she appoints Ayumu to fight the Megalos in her place and lives with him. She is capable of making delicious fried eggs, but that is all she can make.

Eucliwood Hellscythe (ユークリウッド・ヘルサイズ Yūkuriuddo Herusaizu^?)

Eucliwood, called 'Eu' for short, is a necromancer who brought Ayumu back to life to be her guard and has been living with him since. She doesn't talk, instead communicating through written notes, mostly pertaining to her appetite. It is shown that she does care about Ayumu even though she considers him to be her servant. She does not like people talking about death or telling them to go die. Ayumu often daydreams about her speaking in a cutesy manner (voiced 

Seraphim (セラフィム Serafimu^?)

Voiced by: Yōko Hikasa

Seraphim, 'Sera' for short, is a vampire ninja, who combines her katana skills and ninja reflexes with her vampire powers to fight her enemies. She comes to Ayumu's house to serve Eucliwood, Eucliwood refused her so suggests fighting with Ayumu to become her servant, eventually she loses after a great fight, so she ends up being Ayumu's servant in hopes she can change her mind. She is rather cold towards Ayumu, constantly calling him "a piece of shit".by a different voice actor in each episode of the anime).
